This amazing plastic can be shaped by hand at room temperature to form a permanent bend ‚ no need for ovens or strip heaters. It looks just like acrylic but has a toughness approaching polycarbonate. It is also a shape-memory polymer, so it will return to its original shape when heated  e.g., in very hot water.
